A Yuga Labs Partner That Owns 2,000 Otherdeeds Purchased Three Bored Apes Today For $173K USD. Here's What We Know:

Things were anything but boring around the swamp today after a Yuga Labs 'partner' controlled wallet purchased three Bored Apes above the floor price!

Rumors were circulating around the Bored Ape Yacht Club on Wednesday after wallet 0xCd5683fCeE1C510A81038edAc6700C07Cfdcf6a4, which many believed was controlled by Yuga Labs based on a previous transfer of 2,000 Otherdeeds from the company to it in August 2023, purchased three Bored Apes for 59.2 Eth or $173,700 USD.

Following the purchases, wallet 0xCd5683f moved its three new primates to three fresh wallets.

As Apes around the swamp began to speculate about these moves, Yuga Labs CEO Garga tweeted that this purchase was made by a partner, not Yuga.

“Wasn't us, a partner bought this," he tweeted in response to Cirrus’ viral tweet about the purchases.

 

After Garga’s tweet, many in the community began speculating that the metaverse building company Improbable, who Garga recently reiterated was still working with Yuga Labs to build Otherside, was behind today's purchases.

 

 

The Bored Ape Gazette reached out to Improbable Founder Herman Narula for comment but he did not immediately reply. However, he did recently like tweet that was related to these pickups!
