Adidas Is Heading Deeper Into The Metaverse With Its ALT[er] Egos. Here's What We Know So Far:

Adidas took another step into the metaverse today after the company released more information about its Alts by Adidas collection and dropped a new video featuring the company’s Bored Ape, Indigo Herz.

“Chapter 1: ALT[er] Ego starts now This is your first step on your journey towards your own ‘ALTS by adidas’ identity, “the company tweeted from its Indigo Herz account along with a cinematic video of the Bored Ape on his to the Rift Valley Motel. “At the end of Chapter 3 you will get a unique PFP consisting of countless trait combinations with a rarity rank. ALTS by adidas is a dynamic NFT which will evolve based on your decisions and engagement.”

In the video that Adidas shared today, viewers see Indigo Herz on traveling alone through a baron dessert.

Herz continued to walk this path alone before the primate stumbled upon the “Rift Valley Motel.”

Herz then entered the hotel turned on the lights, took a room key, and laid down for a nap.

Suddenly, the hotel began to shake, and shocks went through Herz’s body as the hotel’s sign shifted and the lights flickered. Herz jumped out of bed and was greeted by a sign that cryptically read “You will leave a whole new person.”

Adidas went on to say that the company will release more details about the different ALT(er) ego traits and their utility tomorrow.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Adidas first teased this new chapter of its metaverse journey on March 25th.
