As the Bored Ape Yacht Club’s membership approached 5,000 members last night, a famous DJ aped in.

Steve Aoki, joined the BAYC early Sunday morning after he purchased two bored apes for a combined total of 32.92 Eth or roughly $79,000 USD.

Aoki’s bored apes are Bored Ape Ape#3397 and Bored Ape #3719.

Bored Ape #3397 is a five trait red fur ape with a dumbfounded mouth and a Guayabera shirt. Bored Ape #3397 cost Aoki 7.92 Eth.

The DJ’s other primate is Bored Ape #3397. Bored Ape #3719 is a seven trait death bo fur ape with a bikers vest, a beanie and holographic glasses. Based on these traits, Bored Ape #3719 is the 732nd most rare ape, according to Rarity Tools. Aoki paid 25 Eth.

Aoki appears to really enjoy the futuristic characteristics of Bored Ape #3719, according to his Twitter.

After his tweet,BAYC members were quick to comment welcome the DJ into the club.
