Ape Water Is Keeping Art Basel Bored And Refreshed with Its Banana Truck

Ape Water is keeping Miami bored and hydrated with its Art Basel inspired “Banana Truck.”

As the Bored Ape Yacht Club and NFT community make their way to the Magic City for a week of art and parties, Ape Water has set up a mobile art display and is giving out NFTs with refreshing utility.

“Paying homage to the infamous Banana + duct tape on wall at Art Basel 2019 by Maurizio Cattelan, Ape Water has re-created a mobile art installation that will be traveling throughout the Miami area during Art Basel,” the company wrote in a press release. “People who “find the banana” will be able to mint a free “BananaTruck” NFT which will allow for front of line access to Ape Water’s upcoming home water subscription along with one month of free water and various other prizes.”

While Ape Water did not specify when or where its Banana Truck will turn up, the company said that Art Basel attendees should keep their eyes peeled.

“The whereabouts of the water is a closely guarded secret as Ape Water but without a doubt it is obvious the company is on a mission to bring the fun and quality hydration to the streets of Miami guerilla-style,” Ape Water said.

Along with its Banana Truck, Ape Water is also giving away its boring beverage at several “crowd-favorite” events throughout Miami Art Week.
