As Yuga Labs Gets A New CEO Here's What's Next For Its Current CEO Nicole Muniz AKA VStrange

As Yuga Labs announced that Activision Blizzard’s former Chief Operating Officer, Daniel Alegre, will be its new Chief Executive Officer in 2023, Yuga Labs teased a new role for its current CEO Nicole Muniz going forward!

On Monday, as it was announced that Alegre would be joining the swamp as the new CEO of Yuga Labs, the company also announced that Muniz AKA VStrange will be remaining at Yuga Labs in a new role.

“Our friend and confidant, Nicole Muniz, will stay on as a partner and a valued strategic advisor,” Bored Ape Yacht Club Co-Founder Garga wrote in a press release. “From the earliest days when we called her constantly for advice, to joining as an official partner in late 2021, to becoming the company’s first CEO in January 2022, Nicole’s contributions helped build the infrastructure we needed to scale. We look forward to continuing to work closely with her. “

Following Yuga Labs’ announcement, VStrange took to Twitter and said that she looks forward to continuing to build the new internet.

“Being CEO of Yuga has been an incredible journey," she tweeted. "Stoked to welcome Daniel to the team and can’t wait to see the awesomeness under his leadership. As for me, stay tuned. There’s a lot to build in this new era of the internet.”

Following VStrange’s post, many BAYC members took to Twitter and thanked Muniz for all of her contributions to the swamp!
