BACK ON THE GRAM: The BAYC Teased A New Community Resource Website On Instagram

After taking a break from Instagram, the Bored Ape Yacht Club made its way back to the social media platform this weekend and announced a new website.

“HEADS UP APES- We’re back on Instagram, “the BAYC posted on its story Saturday afternoon. “As you may know, despite Yuga having all available safeguards in place at the time of the attack-including 2fa- our IG account was compromised back in the spring (like many others in the NFT space). So, we took a break for a bit.

The BAYC went on the say that its parent company, Yuga Labs, is building a new site where members can confirm whether a post or link is official.

“Since then, we’ve been working on a new site where our community will be able to view company announcements in a single place that Yuga Owns and controls. Our ultimate goal is to provide a resource where community members can check and verify for themselves BAYC news and links they see on social platforms like this one. More info to come, but as it’s to re-engage our active community on Instagram, a few friendly, basic reminders on our return. These are the only official IG accounts associated with Yuga Labs. We’ll update this list if new handles go live. If you come across a handle that’s not on this list, it’s not us.
