BAYC Members Can Now Mint A Mutant Hound. Find Out More

Bored Ape Yacht Club members can now enter “The Hound Lair” and retrieve their Mutant Hound collars.

Its day three of the Mutant cartel’s Mutant hound mint and BAYC members can now claim their dogs for .25 Eth.

“It is time to mint your Hounds Collars, apes,” the project tweeted this morning. “If you held a BAYC on 5 December during our snapshot you can now enter the Hound Lair to claim your Collar here: https://www.mutantdao.com/mutant-hounds-lair.”

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the Mutant Hounds project is a two part mint. the first part is a staggered mint for a Mutant Hound Collar.

During this first part, Genesis Oath holders, MAYC, BAYC, BAKC, and the public will each have 24 hours to mint a collar.

The second part of this mint will be a burning process where holders will burn their collars for an insane dog. In total, 10,000 Mutant Hound collars are up for grabs!

Following the BAYC mint window today, Bored Ape Kennel Club holders will be invited to mint a pup on Saturday and the general public will be allowed to mint on Sunday, according to the Mutant Hounds website.

At the time of this article's publication, 5787 Mutant Hound Collars have been minted and the secondary floor price is .3585 Eth, according to Opensea data.

As many in the NFT community mint their Mutant Hound Collars, the project's founder, Lior.Eth, recently explained the Hounds place in the expanded Yugaverse.

“The Hounds are the first of many ‘expansion packs’ that we’ve been working on for the BAYC universe,” Lior.Eth tweeted earlier this week. “It’s not just another pfp. While the Hounds project can be an identity unto itself, the goal was to create more value for our existing pfp - the MAYC.
