Bored Ape Yacht Club Member and Chain CEO Deepak Thapliyal Made moves today that ended with him purchasing his second gold fur ape.

Thapliyal purchased bored ape #232 for 1080.689999 ETH or 2,809,000 USD.

Bored ape #232 is a six trait gold fur primate wearing a smokers jacket and a seaman’s hat. Based on these traits, Bored Ape #232 is the 503rd most rare ape, according to Rarity Tools.

“Say hello to my little friend #BAYC,” Thapliyal tweeted along with a photo of Bored Ape #232.

Prior to purchasing Bored Ape #232, Thapliyal sold seven bored apes, and an M1 and M2 serum to raise funds to buy the gold fur primate.

“Sold some, took profits. Aped in, spent net more. #BAYC,” Thapliyal tweeted.

After today’s purchase and sales, Thapliyal is now the 37th largest BAYC holder with 14 bored apes, including two gold fur primates. In total, Thapliyal’s bored ape collection is worth at least 2,882.9038 ETH or $7,495,000 USD.

Along with his impressive ape collection, Thapliyal also holds a mega mutant serum that he purchased for 1542.069 Eth. Thapliyal also holds two mutant apes and a pair of mutant serums, according to Opensea data.

“After my purchase of a Bored Ape, I realized that this #BAYC movement is real," Thapliyal tweeted after purchasing the mega mutant serum a few weeks ago. “We are at an intersection of history being made and we can choose to ignore it and go one way or fully embrace it and go the other way. I chose the red pill ser.”
