Bored Ape Yacht Club Member IllaDaProducer Has Joined The Yuga Labs Team

The Bored Ape Yacht club’s parent company, Yuga Labs, has hired long-time club member IllaDaProducer to be its Community and Partnership Lead.

BAYC member IllaDaProducer tweeted that Yuga Labs has hired him to be the company’s Community and Partnership Lead earlier today.

“Joining is personal for me,” IllaDaProducer explained in a four-part tweet thread. “A lot of marginalized and underprivileged communities have been left out of web3. In this role, I’ll be focused on deepening engagement with diverse communities and improving upon the failures of web 1 and 2. In my experience NO other brand in web3 has brought more diversity into the ecosystem than Yuga. I am excited to be on the frontlines shining a light on the many stories of entrepreneurship coming out of this community, & to help even more diverse voices find their way into web3. ApeFest reminded me of the power of bringing people together. I met lots of people, a majority of which are minorities, developing ideas with their IP. Some of these will be game changers, some will just be fun, and I’m here for all of it. LFG.”

After IllaDaProducer announced that he was joining the Yuga Labs team, BAYC Co-Founder Garga took to twitter and welcomed him to the company. “Excited to have you on the team Illa!”

As the Yuga Labs welcomed IllaDaProducer To the team, BAYC members took to Twitter to celebrate the hire.
