It’s day five of the Apes Vs. Mutants mobile game competition and Bored Ape Yacht Club members have been spent countless hours throwing bottles, shooting lasers and slinging bananas.
With two days left in the competition, BAYC member “Dreamer” is leading the bored ape’s side of the game while BAYC member “Karabear.eth” is in first place in the mutant version of the game.
BAYC members in general seem to be loving the Apes Vs. Mutants mobile game, with many apes putting several hours into playing the mobile game each day.
BAYC member Octavio told the Bored Ape Gazette that he’s been playing non-stop since the games launch and it currently just outside the top 250 in the ape’s game and he is in the top 200 in the mutant’s version of the game. “This has been a battle lol,” he said. “I haven’t slept.”
When asked what advice he has for apes and mutants who may be struggling with the game, Octavio simply said, “Take your time during each level. It’s really that simple.”
After seeing how many apes and mutants have participated in the mobile game competition, the BAYC announced a slight change to the prize structure.
“Stoked to see so many users climbing the leaderboard on the BAYC x MAYC Mobile Game Competition," the BAYC tweeted yesterday evening. “In recognition of your efforts, we're expanding the lowest reward for each game to the top 1k users."
