Bored Apes had quite a busy Sunday as a good portion of the club picked up an Ape Harbor Yacht.
“Sailing across the sea, listening to the lofi radio with your dog by your side and a cocktail in hand as you watch the sunset disappear into the sea,” Ape Harbour post on their website. “This is what a normal day of a bored ape looks like. In Ape Harbour, bored apes find yachts that make their life exciting.”
In total, there were 7,777 yachts in the collection. Bored Ape Yacht Club members were given early access to the yachts. BAYC members who owned a Bored Ape Kennel Club dog were also given a surfboard.
“Just grabbed a @Apeharbour Yacht and Board. Because FOMO, Bored Ape Yacht Club member Jonathan Long Tweeted. “Have a feeling once the public sale opens in a few min they will be gone.”
Long’s assessment of the situation turned out to be correct. The yachts sold out about an hour after the public opening began.
Currently, there are 1.7k unique owners of Ape Harbor Yachts and the floor price is .08 Eth, according to Opensea.
Currently the yachts have not yet been revealed. The Bored Ape Gazette reached out to Ape Harbour Yacht via Twitter to find out more about the project and reveal, but did not hear back by time of this articles publication.
