Bored Apes Got Together In The Sandbox For A "Small Glimpse" Of Miami 2035
Bored Ape Yacht Club members aped into the Sandbox this morning and got their first look at the game’s Miami 2035 experience.
As the Sandbox video game continued with its Alpha Season 3, the company gave Bored Apes their first look at the BAYC Miami 2035 experience this morning.
“We’re happy to share a small glimpse into the BAYC Sandbox experience that will be fully available to explore in later seasons of the Sandbox.,” the BAYC tweeted this morning, “We want to thank the team at @CryptoCitiesDev for their amazing efforts on creating this experience.”
While today’s event was just a “small glimpse" into the BAYC Sandbox experience many users marveled at the size of the build.
“Speechless, experience just dropped, spent over 7 hours in, wandering, checking out every corner, building design, lights, graffiti, the bananas xD, everything in it was perfect,” TheMetaSander tweeted. “Huge respect to the devs!”
After this morning’s sneak peak, BAYC member FreekyCrytpo took to Twitter and shared a boring group photo from the event!
After this morning’s meetup, the Gazette reached out to CryptoCitiesDev’s Creative Director and BAYC member TropicalVirtual.Eth to find out more about the BAYC’s Sandbox Experience.
“The Miami 2035 experience is a first look of what’s to come inside the BAYC x Sandbox social hub,” TropicalVirtual.Eth said. “Players will complete mini-games while also interacting with the environment to learn of future utility, integrations and games. There is still more environments to build out but this is the first step into the sandbox world for the Bored Ape Yacht Club.”
When asked when the next BAYC event is, TriopicalVirtual told the Gazette that he does not know yet.
“There is still no word on the next event, that would be info from sandbox that we are waiting on,” TropicalVirtual said. “We will begin development on the next area for BAYC soon but that’s all that has been discussed so far.”
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the BAYC first mentioned Sandbox Miami 2035 in September 2021 when the club released its Roadmap 2.0.

Miami 2035 is the eighth stop on the roadmap.
