This Bored Ape Yacht Club member was on a bored bender Tuesday night that ended with a trippy purchase!

Longtime BAYC member HolySmonkey purchased Bored Ape #4743 from Wallet 0x343fB last night for 300 Eth or $376,000 USD.

Bored Ape #4743 is a six-trait trippy fur primate with a party hat, a Vietnam Jacket and heart glasses. Based on these traits, Bored Ape #4743 is the 630th most rare primate, according to Rarity Tools.

After their purchase, the Bored Ape Gazette reached out to HolySmonkey to find out why they aped into this trippy ape.

“I got excited after @BoredApeYC released the video of the trial of Jimmy,” HolySmonkey said. “So, I have been accumulating Yuga assets since, including 5 doggos, Apecoins for staking, and this party trippy is handsome af like me. Most importantly, I’m drunk.”

Purchasing Trippy apes on Tuesday nights is nothing new for HolySmonkey. As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the notable collector purchased Bored Ape #5979 for 215 Eth or $341,000 USD on Tuesday November 1st, 2022.
