"Bored Jobs" Wants To Help Bored Ape Yacht Club Members Get Licensing Deals! Find Out More Here:
Crypto company MouseBelt Labs recently launched a new platform that hopes to connect Bored Ape Yacht Club members with companies for licensing deals.
On June 28th, mouseBelt launched Bored Jobs, an online website where BAYC members can connect with companies and brands that are looking to use Ape IP.
“The Bored Ape Yacht Club gave their owners an amazing opportunity to utilize the IP rights of the NFTs they purchased,” MouseBelt states on its website. “What they did not give them is an instruction manual on how to put it to work. We are creating that instruction manual.”
So far, over 200 BAYC members have placed their apes on Bored Jobs. MouseBelt told the Bored Ape Gazette that they believe that getting apes licensing deals will be crucial for the broader BAYC project going forward.
“As we experience price volatility, it will be more critical than ever for ape owners to gain additional value by putting their apes to work. We believe the "OG" ape community is key to overall growth. If these people sell, we think it would not be suitable for the greater BAYC community. Therefore we are very committed to watching these owners enjoy passive success via their ape working,” MouseBelt said.
Since launching Bored Jobs earlier this week, MouseBelt has not placed any apes in licensing deals yet; but the company is in contact with a ton of different brands who want to ape's IP. “Since the site launched, we've received 47 inquiries from brands we are currently vetting,” MouseBelt told the Gazette.
Apes that are interested in throwing their hat in the licensing deal ring can go to https://www.boredjobs.com and fill out the company’s simple three-part questionnaire.
Currently, Bored Jobs is only accepting Bored Apes on its platform. But going forward, MouseBelt plans to open the website to Mutant Apes and many other NFTs.
The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to cover MouseBelt and Bored Jobs and will let you know when apes start getting licensing deals!
