Cameo’s co-founder and CEO, Steven Galanis, aped into the Bored Ape Yacht Club Friday evening picking up his first bored ape.

“(Thumbs up emoji) @BoredApeYC #NewProfilePic,” Galanis tweeted along with a photo of Bored Ape #9012.

Bored Ape #9012 is a five-trait black fur ape with in a toga and 3D glasses. Galanis purchased Bored Ape #9012 for 100 Eth or $320,000 USD. After the purchase, Galanis updated his Twitter profile photo to Bored Ape #9012.

"Been tracking the community for awhile," Galanis told the Bored Ape Gazette. "Been waiting to dive in. I’m super excited to go deep with the community. Think there can be some fun we can all have with cameo. Who better to lead the way than the ape with the toga & 3d vision! LFG."

While some may be who are unfamiliar with Galanis’ company, it is likely that everyone in this community has seen a cameo video.

Cameo is an online marketplace where users connect with their favorite stars, according to the company’s website.

On cameo, users can hire celebrities to read a personalized message or slogans.
