Check Out TAG Heuer's New Smartwatch That Will Let Users Display Their Bored Apes

Luxury watchband Tag Heuer announced that Bored Ape Yacht Club members will be able to make their watch faces bored with the company’s new smartwatch.

“The world is changing fast,” TAG Heuer wrote in a press release. “And a lot of this is down to the rapid evolution of the Internet. From Web3 to blockchain to NFTs to cryptocurrencies, there’s a lot to digest. As an avant garde, innovative brand, TAG Heuer is here to help watch enthusiasts stay in tune with our changing world. We seek to create unique, exclusive experiences that capture the zeitgeist. That’s why, shortly after entering the cryptocurrency space in the United States, TAG Heuer is taking another bold step into the world of Web3. We’re introducing an NFT viewer for customers to showcase their digital asset collection, with a verified proof of ownership, on their TAG Heuer Connected watch.”

TAG Heuer’s new connected watch is called TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E-4 and will cost $2500 USD according to the company’s website.

TAG Heuer first stepped into the BAYC in May after the company’s CEO aped into the swamp.

As The Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Frédéric Arnault, who became CEO of TAG Heuer in July 2020, aped into the BAYC on May 11th picking up Bored Ape #4215.

Bored Ape #4215 is a five-trait brown fur ape with a black BAYC hat, an eye patch, and a diamond grill. Based on these traits, Bored Ape #4215 is the 2470th most rare ape, according to Rarity Tools.

The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow Arnault, TAG Heuer, and the larger LVMH brand and let you know what they do next!
