COMING UP: Garga And Improbable's Herman Narula Went Back And Forth About Otherside Today As Apes& Voyagers Get Ready For Next Week's Metaverse Meeting

After Yuga Labs CEO Garga confirmed that Improbable still has a role to play in Otherside’s development earlier this week, he and Improbable Founder, Herman Narula, went back and forth on Twitter today about getting Apes building in the metaverse.

As the Bored Ape Yacht Club got together for a very special Bored Meeting that doubled as an anniversary party on Tuesday, Garga confirmed that Improbable was still involved in the development on Otherside and said that the community will be heading to Otherside for a metaverse meeting next week.

“We will be going to the clubhouse next week, I don’t have the date and yes Improbable still has a role to play and we will get into all the details next week,” Garga said.

After Garga confirmed that Yuga Labs was still working with Improbable to build an interoperable metaverse, he and Narula tweeted back and forth with one another about Otherside for the first time in a long time.

“So close to giving access to more devs... been a long time in the making,” Narula tweeted. “Great summary of the workflow here by DC. @CryptoGarga. I really like this ape, he's quite the primate.”

Following Narula’s tweet, Garga replied saying ‘ first step was to get apes creating with their 3D models… Next step is to get them building in the metaverse.’

To which Narula replied ‘And if we do it right their creations can be based on something that feeds lots of worlds and lets them create businesses and applications that anyone even normies can use. Exciting times!’

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Improbable has always thought of the Metaverse as a network of interoperable metaverses where people can bring their items and avatars from one world to another.

Based on today’s back and forth and Garga’s reiteration that Improbable still has a role to play in the creation of Otherside, we now know that Yuga Labs is working with Improbabale, the spatial technology company Hadean, the platform technology company AccelByte, the gaming studio Bad Rhino Studios, and the gaming studio and publisher Faraway to make Otherside a reality.

“I want to take the best of everything and throw it into Otherside,” Garga said in September 2023. “Greedy like that tbh.”

The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow next week’s metaverse meeting and will let you know when it happens and bring you live updates throughout the event. Stay tuned for more news!
