FIRST THOUGHTS: Serum City Opened Today. Here's What The Yugaverse Is Saying About The World Builder Game:
The Mutant Hounds are howling, the Apes are anything but bored, and the Mutant Cartel oath-takers aren’t saying a word, as the Yugaverse entered the world of Serum City for the first time today and shared their thoughts on this insane game!
On Thursday, Novel Labs and Faraway Studio took over the timeline with their highly anticipated ApeCoin-powered, interoperable Web3 world builder game, Serum City.
As Hounds, Oath Takers, and Apes, made their way into town and began stealing, trading, crafting, and building their way up the Mutant Cartel ranks, the community took to Twitter and shared their first thoughts on the game!
Take a look at some of the communities first thoughts below:
“After playing @Serumcity for a few hours I have to say it's one of the games... and I've played a lot... that really makes fun, is addictive and so nice to look at,” InctubeTweets wrote. “Great work, congrats to the team @mutant_cartel for this W!”
“When rich storytelling meets truly visionary and talented builders @farawaygg,” the Duke wrote. “So much to come with @Serumcity and the world of @mutant_cartel.”
“Having a ton of fun with @Serumcity,” Web3gatsby tweeted. “I find the art details, guided tutorial and general lore insane!! This has so much work behind it, congrats to the entire @mutant_cartel team.”
"Minted my BAYC/MAYC @Serumcity passes,” Adam Hollander tweeted. “Only played the game for a few minutes but it felt high quality and seemed to have a lot of depth. Congrats to @MutantHounds and @lior_eth! Love when projects deliver actual value to the space over pure speculation and hype.”
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, anyone who owns an Ape, Mutant Hound, or Mutant Cartel Oath NFT can now connect their wallets or use Warm.Xyz, to claim one Serum City pass per NFT they hold.
From there, players will engage in activities such as stealing, trading, crafting, and building as they make their way up the Mutant Cartel ranks, progressing from lowly thieves to becoming a cartel boss and earning a piece of the game's six figure prize pool for the game’s first and second seasons.
The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow Serum City and will keep you posted on the game. Stay tuned for updates!
