FIT CHECK: The Bored Ape Yacht Club Got Its First Look At Female Merch!
The Ladies of BAYC got their first look at the Bored Ape Yacht Club's womens merch today, and it's definitely a vibe!
On Thursday, Yuga Labs' Community Lead, Spicy Tina, shared an image of a Bored Ape Yacht Club crop top on Twitter with the caption, 'Let's go, girls! 💯.'
The piece appears to be a white crop top with ‘Bored Ape’ written in bold letters at the top and ‘Yacht Club’ written in cursive boldly underneath!
Following Spicy Tina’s post, several members of the community took to Twitter posting eyeball emojis and others shared their excitement for the club’s first piece of women’s swag!
“Hot off the mfing presss!!!,” BAYC member TigerIsFine tweeted.
While BAYC member’s just got their first look at the club’s women’s merch today, the BAYC's plan to debut a line of female clothing at ApeFest 2023 was first announced during a Twitter Space with the BAYC Community Council in August 2023!
“The teams been hard at work at some amazing merch designs,” Spicy Tinna said at the time. “And without giving too much away, ladies, there is finally something for us. Which is super exciting!”
Further, Spicy Tina also confirmed that female ApeFest merch will be available online for those who can't make it to Hong Kong.
