HOT DAMN: The ApeCoin DAO Approved Of The DAM Shows AIP Earlier This Week.

The DAM Show cast is Damn happy after the ApeCoin DAO approved of their Ape Improvement Proposal earlier this week!

On Wednesday, the ApeCoin community voted in favor of the AIP-214 titled “Sponsoring The DAM Show + Live Game Shows” with 52.85% approval.

“Thank you to everyone who contributed to the 4.1 million votes in support for our proposal,” DAM Show co-host and Bored Ape Yacht Club member Atareh told the Gazette. “And special thanks to The General and Captain Trippy for their support and guidance.”

Following AIP-214’s approval, the ApeCoin DAO will now allocate $95,000 USD to the DAM Show.

$40,000 USD will be used to purchase 12 Otherdeeds and Other Yuga Labs assets that will be given away as prizes during the DAM Show’s live games and $55,000 USD will be used to enhance the show, pay talent, among other things.

“I am so happy to see that the community stood by us,” DAM Show Co-Host Mebynetta told the Gazette. “It was a really emotional moment for me. We have been working daily on this for 10 months and the love we received during this ‘campaign’ was incredible. We really do want to become one of the best shows in NFTs. Our focus is FUN and entertainment, and we want to deliver that weekly to the community. With this grant we will work on making our show bigger and better.”
