HV-MTL Forge Season Three Dubbed 'The Swampening' Kick Off Today! Here's What You Need To Know:

From summertime fun to oozing sludge, season three of the Bored Ape Yacht Club’s HV-MTL Forge will pay homage to the club’s enigmatic everglade roots!

On Thursday, season two of the HV-MTL Forge came to an end as the BAYC introduced the community to the game’s third season dubbed ‘The Swampening.’

During season three, the HV-MTL Holders and their Mechs will be able to craft new swamp inspired items such as alligators and outhouses along with items that pay homage to the club’s roots like a portrait of Curtis and a Hawaiian shirt!

Along with new swampy items, BAYC, MAYC, and BAKC holders will also have the chance to craft holder exclusive items like a PP Man birthday cake, a slimy MAYC sewer and a plush pup!

Along with a marshy mood change, the BAYC also listened to community feedback and added several updates to the Forge’s gameplay that will make it easier for HV-MTL holders and their Mechs to deck out their HV-Homes!

“Forge build timers will now run in the background, so you can kick back, relax, and know your HV is hard at work — even when you close your game tab,” the BAYC tweeted. “Plus, downvotes are no longer a thing. For more info, head to Forge's FAQ.”

Season three of the HV-MTL Forge will last from now until August 31st, according to the club’s season timeline. As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the HV-MTL Forge consists of six three-week seasons and the game’s final season will end in November 2023.
