Jenkins The Valet Is Writing A Classic Ape Anecdote To Celebrate His 2nd Anniversary At The BAYC
Jenkins the Valet celebrated two years of parking boats, writing stories, and all around monkey business at the Bored Ape Yacht Club today, and to commemorate this milestone, he's writing a tall tale that will be anything but boring!
During the early days of the Bored Ape Yacht Club in the summer of 2021, Jenkins the Valet made waves around the swamp with his ape anecdotes, detailing his adventures with various primates from the club. By mid-June, Jenkins was awarded one of the BAYC's first community grants, and the primate launched his project, "The Writers Room,” later that year.
Since that time, Jenkins the Valet and his community co-wrote the book, Bored& Dangerous, with NY Times best-selling author Neil Strauss, collaborated with other BAYC themed projects, began work on a Podcast series, and the primate is getting ready to reveal his parent company’s PFP NFT, the Azurians.
To celebrate the last two years, Jenkins the Valet told the community that he’s looking to write a new story featuring someone’s primate!
“Two years ago to this day, I went from Ape #1798 to Jenkins the Valet,” he tweeted this afternoon. “I came to life by turning myself into a character and then by doing the same for so many of you, via my short stories! To celebrate, I'll be writing one of those classic Jenkins stories for one of YOU! How to participate: 1. Go to Writers Room Avenue to find my 2-year anniversary post 2. Post a picture of your NFT on that post.”
The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow Jenkins the Valet and will keep you posted on what he does next!
Happy second anniversary Jenkins and cheers to many more!
