The clock is ticking for ApeCoin DAO contributors as the deadline to throw their hat in the ring and nominate themselves for this summer’s $Ape office election cycle closes tonight at 9 P.M. EST.
Things are anything but boring in the $Ape ecosystem today as community members decide whether or not to run for $Ape office this summer and get their nomination applications into the DAO before tonight’s 9 P.M. EST deadline!
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, this summer’s election season consists of two Special Council Members' seats and two Governance Working Group Stewards' seats that are up for reelection.
Additionally, the ApeCoin DAO government is introducing one new Marketing & Communications WG Steward seat, one Metaverse WG Steward seat, and two Web 3 Development WG Stewards' seats across its governance, all of which need to be filled by a community vote.
In order to officially nominate yourself for one of these races, $Ape holders will need to fill out the Google Docs forums that can be found on the ApeCoin DAO’s Discourse page here: https://forum.apecoin.com
To run for $Ape office, prospective nominees for every position will need to submit their full name, date of birth, Government issued ID, proof of address, phone number, email address, Discourse Username, and Twitter Username to the to the DAO.
Remember, the window for $Apes to nominate themselves for any of these positions closes tonight at 9 P.M. EST. So, make sure you submit your applications ASAP!
