LEARN ABOUT LISBON: This Bored Ape Yacht Club Member Gave His Thoughts On The Must See Sites& Foods Of The City Of Seven Hills

Bored Ape Yacht Club members are anything but bored as they learn about Lisbon and discover where Portugal is, along with what the country has to offer, after the club announced that ApeFest 2024 would be taking place in the 'City of Seven Hills.'

On Tuesday, the BAYC announced that the club’s fourth annual ApeFest would be taking place in Lisbon, Portugal, this October.

“Pack the boat,” the BAYC tweeted along with a photo of Curtis packed in a sardine can. “ApeFest Lisbon. October 2024.”

Following this post, Apes filled the timeline with questions like where’s Lisbon and asking their fellow primates for recommendations on everything from sites to see and nightlife.

To find out more about Lisbon the Bored Ape Gazette reached out to Portugal Primate and Co-Founder of Zharta Finance, Nun0x, and asked him about restaurants, sites, and weed!

Take a look at the interview below:

1. What should Apes know about Lisbon before attending ApeFest 2024?

“Lisbon is a vibrant capital, and almost everyone speaks English. Avoid the tourist spots and try the less beaten path; it will not disappoint. An interesting alpha: it's super cheap to take an Uber to Caparica Beach.”

 2. What are the must see sites?

“Principe Real, Belém, Castelo São Jorge.”

 3. What are some must try restaurants or dishes?

“Ramiro is a must; If you want a local experience with chicken piri-piri the "Valenciana" is a great spot; Foods to try: Caldo Verde (traditional soup); Cod à brás; "Um bitoque", a traditional steak with an egg on top with fries.”

 4. How is the nightlife in Lisbon?

“It is fantastic; you can drink freely in the street, and everyone gathers around "Santos," near Pink Street and in Bairro Alto (close to Baixa-Chiado). For clubbing, there are lots of clubs near the river, with LUX being the most iconic.”

5. Is Lisbon 420 friendly?

“Yes :)”

The Bored Ape Gazette is working to bring you additional coverage of Lisbon and will keep you posted on all things ApeFest 2024. Stay tuned for updates!
