Chicago Cubs Pitcher, Marcus Stroman, threw some heat last night and ended up ape-ing into the Bored Ape Yacht Club.

“Latest purchase. @BoredApeYC,” Stroman tweeted along with a photo of Bored Ape #3469.

Bored Ape #3469 is a six-trait brown fur ape with a bored unshaven beard, x eyes, a leather jacket and a laurel wreath hat. Based on these traits, Bored Ape #3469 is the 2618th most rare ape, according to Rarity Tools.

The Cubs’ pitcher purchased Bored Ape #3469 for 132 Eth or $343,000 USD, according to Opensea data.

As BAYC members welcomed Stroman to the club, former NFL Quarterback Johnny Manziel, commented on the pitchers’ post purchased vibe.
