Moonpay Transferred Two Bored Apes To New Wallets And Bought Another Bored Ape Sunday Night

It was a busy weekend at the Bored Ape Yacht Club for Moonpay as the crypto payment company transferred two bored apes to new wallets and purchased another bored ape.

Moonpay moved Bored Ape #389 to Wallet 4603BC and Bored Ape #9763 to Wallet 9537F7 Sunday evening. Both these wallets were made this month and neither wallet holds any NFTs besides their bored apes, according to Opensea data.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Moonpay purchased Bored Ape #389 and #9763 on March 9th for 77 Eth and 86.9 Eth respectively.

At the time of this article’s publication, Moonpay has not announced who Bored Ape #389 and Bored Ape #9763 are for, but BAYC members think it could be just about anyone.

Shortly after Moonpay moved Bored Ape #389 and Bored Ape #9763 to new wallets, the company purchased Bored Ape #6045 for 100 Eth. Bored Ape #6045 is a five-trait golden brown fur ape with a striped tee and a jovial mouth. Based on these traits, Bored Ape #6045 is the 9311th most rare ape, according to Rarity Tools.

Following Moonpay’s purchase of Bored Ape #6045, BAYC members speculated that anyone from Pete Davidson to Jim Carrey may be joining the swamp next.

After Moonppay’s moves this past weekend, the company now holds 13 bored apes, one mutant ape, an M1 serum and an M2 serum, according to Opensea data.
