NBA Legend Shaquille O'Neal Recently Aped Into The BAYC

NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal has slammed into the NFT space, recently changing his Twitter profile photo to a Creature and buying a Mutant Ape.

Shaq changed his Twitter profile photo to Creature #9018 and placed the NFT in his Twitter Bio.

Based on this, many in the NFT community went to the legendary Center’s Crypto wallet to see what else he’s been dunking into.

The corresponding wallet is named “manofdominance” and links back to Shaq’s Twitter and Instagram pages. In total, The NBA player owns six NFTs, including one Mutant Ape

Shaq purchased Mutant Ape #14452 on September 25 for 4.8 Eth. Mutant Ape #14452 is a five trait brown fur M1 mutant ape with a sporting a smoking jacket.

Shaq is just the latest in a growing list of basketball players to join the BAYC. As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Steph Curry, Lamelo Ball, Tyrese Halliburton and Josh Hart are all members of the BAYC.
