NFL Running Back Mark Ingram Joined The Bored Ape Yacht Club, Picking Up A Noise Fur Mutant Ape

Updated: Feb 8, 2022

NFL Running back Mark Ingram joined the Bored Ape Yacht Club yesterday picking up a noise fur mutant ape.

“Had to cop!!!! #MAYC #MutantApeYachtClub,” Ingram tweeted along with a photo of Mutant Ape #25826.

Mutant Ape #25826 is a seven trait M1 noise fur ape with a bored bubblegum mouth, a cowboy hat and a striped t shirt. Ingram purchased the noise fur primate for 17 Eth or $52,700 USD.

After the purchase BAYC members welcomed Ingram to the club. “Aye, BAYC member Richard Vagner tweeted. “Football legend welcome to the ape fam. Let’s go. @SBananaSociety.”

Ingram is an expectational running back who has had an impressive college football and NFL career. In 2009, Ingram won the Heisman trophy and the BCS national championship with the Alabama Crimson Tide. Ingram would then be drafted in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft by the New Orleans Saints. Since then, he has had a productive NFL career.

Ingram is just the latest NFL player to join the BAYC. As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Dez Bryant, Brandon McManus, Von Miller, Marlon Humphrey, among others have all previously aped in.
