While it may be April Fool’s Day, this Nobody’s recent purchase was no joke.
On Saturday, Bored Ape Yacht Club Member Nobody.Eth purchased HV-MTL #3 for 51.69 Eth or $94,151 USD.
HV-MTL #3 is a Holo type power source with a companion trait, according to Opensea data.
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, HV-MTL #3, along with the 30,000 other power sources in the HV-MTL collection, are set to transform in mechs in the near future.
“HV-MTL is a dynamic NFT collection consisting of mechs summoned through a space-time rift that has opened up outside the Bored Ape Yacht Club, Yuga Labs wrote. “ Every HV (pronounced: Heavy) starts as a Core. Once unlocked, each Core transforms into a one-of-a-kind mech designed to evolve in the right environment.”
