ApeCoin DAO sponsored project, ApeTalent, a marketplace for verified members of the swamp to connect and collaborate, has another Proposal on the ballot this week, aiming to expand the platform's capabilities and include more assets from the Yugaverse.
Ape Improvement Proposal-235 titled “ApeTalent // Beyond Talent: Building the Future,” is an ecosystem allocation fund proposal written by Bored Ape Yacht Club member and ApeTalent Founder, Holocronape.
In their proposal, Holocronape explained that with the DAO's initial round of funding from fall 2022, they were able to build ApeTalent and launch the first version of the collaboration marketplace. Now, they are seeking to expand the platform's user base and further enhance its impact within the community.
To accomplish this, Holocronape is requesting $330,000 USD worth of ApeCoin from the DAO, to be distributed to the ApeTalent team in increments of $110,000 USD every four months over the next year. These funds will support the team as they work towards achieving a series of goals aimed at enhancing the site.
“To achieve our proposed objectives and ensure that our project remains community-driven, we have divided the work into three blocks,” Holocronape explained. “Each block represents an important phase in the development of the platform (4 months of work each approx), and our goal is to complete each block (production ready) before moving on to the next, allowing the foundation to validate it. This way, we can ensure that the community receives the value as each phase of the project is completed. Below are the details of each block, including the specific objectives, work to be done, and corresponding timelines.”
Take a look at what Holocronape hopes to accomplish during each of the three four month blocks below:
Block A: Add CryptoPunks and Meebits to the site, integrate delegate.cash and warm.xyz to the platform, verified pfps on the platform, Apes near you, text editor, and onboarding tools.
Block B: Public sections, add Otherside and 10KTF to the site, add a skills in high demand section, notifications, job board, enable staked ApeCoin and BendDAO logins, improve filtering lists, and autoload content from URLs.
Block C: During this time, Holocronape and the ApeTalent team will develop a mobile application for the site that is focused on privacy.
