PUSHIN PUNKS: PunksOTC Purchased 16 CryptoPunks From BeanieMaxi For $3.4M USD
These two notable crypto enthusiasts weren’t punking around as they made one of the largest CryptoPunk deals in history today that included several hoodie wearing Punks and a zombie!
On Friday, longtime CryptoPunk Holder and high volume NFT Trader, PunksOTC, purchased 16 CryptoPunks from casuallyrekt.eth AKA BeanieMaxi for 1,785 Eth or $3,391,000 USD! Of the 16 CryptoPunks that PunksOTC purchased, five on them have the hoodie trait and one is a zombie type.

Following the deal, PunksOTC updated their Twitter profile photo to the zombie type punk, CryptoPunk #8531, that they acquired in the trade.
“Been waiting a long time for this,” PunksOTC wrote.
CryptoPunk #8531 is a three-attribute zombie type punk with regular shades, stringy hair, and goat facial hair. Based on these traits, CryptoPunk #8531 is the 105th most punk CryptoPunk, according to Rarity Tools.
After PunksOTC updated their pfp, many in the crypto space took to Twitter to congratulate the trader on their first undead punk!
“Nice move,” CryptoPunk holder DigitalOil.nftr tweeted. “Surprised you hadn't worked it earlier. I feel like now you have a pfp deserving of your stature in the punks eco.”
