Reality Star Andy Milonakis Got Lucky At NFT NYC And Now Has A Bored Ape!

Reality tv star, Andy Milonakis has apes on his head, as he purchased his first original bored ape over the weekend!

Milonakis took to Twitter Friday evening and told his followers that he was going shopping for a bored ape.

Milonakis purchased bored ape #4605 for 34.48 Eth or $160,000 USD. Bored ape #4605 is a six trait golden fur ape with a spinner hat sad eyes and a bored cigertte mouth. Based on these traits, Bored Ape #4605 is the 7250th most rare ape, according to Rarity Tools.

"I did it," Milonakis tweeted. "I'm now officially in the @BoredApeYC Beenie gang."

In the past, Milonakis has purchased and sold Mutant apes and has previously tweeted about wanting an original bored ape in his collection. As The Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Milonakis originally joined the BAYC in August after he purchased Mutant Ape #9964.

Milonakis was able to make his dream of owning a Bored Ape a reality after he won a Tyler Hobbs Golden Token Incomplete Control 53/100 from a Bright Moments event at NFT NYC.

“If it wasn't for @brtmoments I wouldn't have an ape,” Milonakis tweeted after selling his Golden Token Incomplete Control for 80 WETH. “Thanks for the contest and I hope one day to hold something from Tyler Hobb's as well, but that sale got me a bunch of stuff. Thanks!”
