Updated: Feb 8, 2022
Registration for the Apes Vs. Mutants mobile game competition opened last night and apes are ready to compete for some insane prizes.
After the mobile game was previously “rugged by Apple,” The Bored Ape Yacht Club informed the community that they could re-register.
“OK, everyone - let’s try this again, The BAYC tweeted yesterday evening. “Registration for the BAYC x MAYC Mobile Game Competition is now live (again) at: http://boredapeyachtclub.com/#/apesvsmutants . Note, the previous registration has been scrapped. You will need to re-register for the game if you did so previously. Registration will close at 11:59pm ET on Thursday, January 20th. The game will go live on Friday, January 21st, and the 7-day competition will kick off then!”
BAYC Co-Founder, Garga, took to Discord to give the BAYC community further instructions on how to register for the contest and to remind apes to never share their seedphrase!
“You will be able to retrieve a passcode that will enable you to register for the game at https://boredapeyachtclub.com/#/apesvsmutants,” Garga wrote. “In order to retrieve your passcode, you’ll need to connect to MetaMask on our site at https://boredapeyachtclub.com/#/apesvsmutants . You will need to have an ape or a mutant on your wallet in order to be shown a password. **ALWAYS ENSURE YOU ARE AT THE CORRECT SITE! DON’T GET PHISHED! NEVER TYPE YOUR SEEDPHRASE, EVER.”
Garga then explained that the passwords are only useable once.
After apes have their passcode, they will need to click the corresponding MAYC or BAYC link to the registration form. Apes will then use their password to enter the forum.
“The game will be available for download on January 20th (we'll share links here then), and the competition will start January 21st at 7pm ET, Garga wrote. “You’ll be able to open up the game, **create a log-in using your same e-mail address as what you used to register online**, and start slinging bananas.”
