SC. Member Yat Siu Said That He And His Company Have A lot To Build After His Term Ends Tomorrow:

While ApeCoin DAO Special Council member Yat Siu’s term on the board is coming to end tomorrow, he assured the community that he and his company, Animoca Brands, are not leaving the swamp or the $Ape ecosystem any time soon!

Following a grueling month-long election process, the $Ape community elected Waabam and CapetainTrippy to succeed Yat Siu and Alexis Ohanian on the ApeCoin DAO Special Council earlier this week.

Following their election, Siu took to Twitter and congratulated the two Special Council Elects and reaffirmed his commitment to building and contributing to the $Ape ecosystem in a seven-part thread!

“As an organization @animocabrands will continue to build and support @apecoin ecosystem including games that are going to support $APE and I look forward to being a contributor to the DAO alongside all of you, in the trenches as part of the community,” Siu tweeted.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Siu and his company, Animoca Brands revealed that they are working with Yuga Labs’ on the company’s upcoming Legends of the Mara game.

“And now the story continues,” the Web3 gaming company tweeted in April. “Animoca Brands is proud to support @yugalabs in the development of Legends of the Mara, the first standalone gaming experience powered by @apecoin. We can't wait to see how Blue's adventure unfolds.”

Further, Siu also confirmed to the Gazette that he and Animoca Brands are still working on a play to earn BAYC game that was first teased in December 2021!

“We are excited about our partnership with Yuga and are committed on continuing to contribute to the Ape ecosystem as a whole including more content and games,” Siu told the Gazette on April 3rd.
