Shilly Dropped A Sobering Christmas Song Warning Santa On The Dangers Of Drinking And Flying!

Bored Ape Yacht Club singing sensation, Shilly, delivered a sobering message to the swamp this Christmas warning Santa, and his fellow primates, about the dangers, of drinking and flying!

 

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and sometimes, Apes, degens, and even Old Saint Nick get a little too merry and wind up making a huge mistake by getting behind the wheel of a sled or car!

 

That’s Shilly and his unpaid manager Shwaz released a banger of a public service announcement this year to warn Santa and Apes about the consequences of drinking and flying!

 

“Don't Drink and Fly Santa,” Shilly tweeted this weekend along with a video of Don’t Drink And Fly Santa music video that was generated entirely with DALL E 3. . “Not just a Christmas song, but a cautionary tale.”

 

Don’t Drink And Fly Santa is just the latest single that Shlly has released since making his musical debut last year.

 

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Shilly premiered his first song, I’m Boring on December 7th, 2022 and then launched his NFT project that gave the community control over his musical career.

 

“So WTF is a Community Produced Recording Artist,” Shwaz tweeted at the time. “Well, it means that behind Shilly will be a community of musicians, storytellers, music fans, dreamers, and believers (also Beliebers) to help take Shilly from Boredom to Stardom. I know that doesn't rhyme. Leave me alone. Using the majestic power of web3 we can create a new kind of music community. One where the earliest supporters are not just fans, but also collaborators who will co-write music with Shilly’s band, pitch stories that can be turned into songs, and vote on major band decisions. Those whose contributions are used in official releases will be credited and compensated because for a web3 music community to work the community must have a real stake in the success of the artist. Since then, Shilly and his community have released three Bored bangers, Elizabeth Holmes, Naked& Sideways and Don’t Drink And Fly Santa, performed live at NFT NYC, and launched a metaverse music venue, Bora Boring!
