Singer Songwriter Jake Miller Joined The Bored Ape Yacht Club, Purchasing A Mutant Ape

Singer and songwriter Jake Miller aped into the Bored Ape Yacht Club Wednesday afternoon.

“Welcome home #23456 @BoredApeYC,” Miller tweeted along with a photo of his Mutant Ape.

Miller’s ape, Mutant Ape #23456 is a seven trait M1 brown fur ape with a bored unshaven pipe mouth, bloodshot eyes and a fez hat. Miller purchased the mutant primate for 15.69 Eth or $52,000 USD.

After Miller purchased Mutant Ape #23456, he changed his profile photo to the mutated ape.

“Welcome to the swamp Jake,” BAYC member DFarmer tweeted.

While BAYC members, crypto enthusiast, and many of Miller’s fans were excited to see the singer join the BAYC, some of his fans were not impressed with Mutant Ape #23456.

“Babe I can't keep supporting you if this is truly the route you're going," Twitter user Leigh’s Legion tweeted. “Your entire comment section is literally just nft bros. Mind as well be supporting a crypto scam.”

Miller joined the NFT community in November, according to his Opensea profile. Since then, Miller has aped into several NFT projects including Alien Frens, Psychedelics Anonymous Genesis, and the Honorary Ape Kids Club made by Bored Ape #4928.
