After a busy Monday evening of sales at The Bored Ape Yacht Club, a solid gold fur Bored Ape sold for 40 Eth or roughly $100,000 USD at the time of this articles publication.

Bored Ape #2489 was sold to Opensea user EnglishBulldog, who currently holds three Bored Apes, according to their Opensea account.

Bored Ape #2489 is a five trait ape with solid gold fur, an eye patch and is blowing bubble gum bubbles. Based on these traits, bored Ape #2489 is the 82nd most rare ape, according to Rarity Tools.

This massive sale comes just hours after a CryptoPunks collector purchased their first ape from NFTsAnonymous for 55 Eth, as previously reported by the Bored Ape Gazette.
