'SOON': Non-Fungible DAO And Its New $NFT Token Make Waves Around The Swamp! Here's what We Know So Far:

It was an insane Mutant Monday for not only the Yugaverse but also the broader NFT ecosystem, as Magic Eden announced its support for a new DAO whose goal is to bring more participants into the world of Web3!

On Monday, Non-Fungible DAO, a new community owned and decentralized organization that’s powered by a coin called $NFT, made waves around the Bored Ape Yacht Club and the metaverse after the DAO shared a nine-part-thread outlining the organization's goals for the future of NFT commerce.

“We are still very early in the adoption of digital assets, but we believe in a future where most of the world interacts with NFTs every single day,” Non-Fungible DAO tweeted. “We believe that the future will be powered by decentralized open-source protocols and innovations from Non-Fungible DAO.”

Non-Fungible DAO went on to announce that it owns and governs various smart contracts that were developed by NFT marketplace, Magic Eden, and that the $NFT token holding community will decide what the DAO does next!

“Decentralization is essential to the global adoption of NFTs,” Magic Eden tweeted following Non-Fungible DAO’s post. “Magic Eden will be open-sourcing and contributing all of its NFT trading and minting protocols to Non-Fungible DAO.”

At this time, we do not know when or how Non-Fungible DAO will be allocating $NFT tokens, but we do know that the DAO will be giving the Web3 space an update “SOON.”

 

“Today marks an important moment in the future of global NFT adoption,” the DAO wrote.  “Non-Fungible DAO will never deviate from the values of web3 and looks forward to building alongside a powerful community. Together, we will make digital ownership universal.”
