SPOTLIGHT: This Bored Ape Yacht Club Member Is Holding An Ape Award Tournament!

This Bored Ape Yacht Club member is hosting a series of Boring tournaments to determine the best Apes!

Over the weekend, BAYC member McFlury took to Twitter and asked the community a simple question, “Who wins the first Gold Ape Award?”

The nominees list was a who’s who list of Golden Apes from Franklin and Machi to Dragonseller and Vis.Eth.

“I’m trying out some stuff to create content for the Yuga community,” McFlury told the Gazette. “So I came up with the idea.”

24 hours later and its clear that McFlury’s idea was a hit with the community! 130 votes were cast and the winner of the Gold Ape Award was BAYC member 0xWave.

“I’m taking my victory lap as the most aesthetic gold ape, 0xWave tweeted after the votes had been tallied. “Just added 500E to my theoretical buyout price.”

After the success of the Gold Ape Award, McFlury started his second contest dubbed “Best Trippy Ape Award.”

The window for users to vote for their favorite trippy primate closes tomorrow around 3 P.M. EST; 24 hours after Mcflury launched the contest. “I post the Vote Results when i post a new Vote so normally 24 hours," McFlury explained.

Following today’s trippy tournament, McFlury plans to do deathbots/ bots tomorrow and is currently looking for nominations!
