BAYC member 0x9798 purchased Bored Ape #1401 for 400 ETH or $1,367,000 USD

Bored Ape #1401 is a six-trait zombie fur ape with a diamond grill grin, a beanie and a black suit. Based on these traits, Bored Ape #1401 is the 785th most rare ape, according by to Rarity Tools.

Prior to Bored Ape #1401 being purchased by BAYC member 0x9798, the well-dressed primate was sold at Christie’s Hong Kong.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Christie’s Hong Kong Auctioned off several Bored Apes as part of the auction house’s no time like the present collection.

The auction took place from September 17th-September 28th and Bored Ape # 1401 was sold for 5,000,000 HKD or 641,180 USD.

After today’s purchase, BAYC member 0x9798 now holds seven bored apes and five mutant apes in this wallet.
