The ApeCoin DAO Elected LogicallyCrypto and 12Gauge To Its Discourse Facilitator Team Last Night

After a weeklong election and 5,549,000 $Ape votes cast, the ApeCoin DAO elected LogicallyCrypto and 12Gauge to its Discourse Facilitator team!

The ApeCoin DAO's first of three summer elections came to an end last night as the community elected longtime ApeCoin DAO contributors LogicallyCrypto and 12Gauge to its first-ever Discourse Facilitator Team, with each of them receiving 1.7 million $Ape votes.

“This week has been a blur," 12Gauge told the Gazette following his win. “Wow. I'm so thankful for the opportunity the community has given me. I'm committed to this DAO, appreciative of the support that I received, and excited to get to work with a couple legends.”

LogicallyCrypto echoed 12Gauge’s comments after the polls closed and thanked everyone from around the swamp for taking part in the election process.

“I feel so tremendously humbled by this outpouring of support from our community,” LogicallyCrypto told the Gazette. “I’m honored to accept the position of Facilitator and will do all in my power to best serve the DAO heading into our newest chapter. A special thanks to all voters, regardless of your choice; your participation is what gives our DAO life. Now let’s get to work!”

LogicallyCrypto and 12Gauge will be joined by former Working Group Zero Steward, HodlrCollective, on the DAO's first community-led discourse moderation team.

The three of them will be responsible for 'overseeing the proposal process, moderating discussions, enforcing rules, and promoting positive community engagement based on DAO-approved guidelines,' according to the DAO.

These three Apes will serve on the Discourse Moderation team for a three-month term and will each earn $8,000 USD per month for their service.
