The BAYC Has Partnered With An E-sport League of Legends Team
The Bored Ape Yacht Club has partnered with an E-sports team, according to BAYC member Jeffery Huang, AKA Machibigbrother.
Huang announced the partnership on Twitter Monday evening, posting a photo of the e-sport team with the BAYC logo on the player’s jerseys.
The Bored Ape Gazette reached out to Huang for comment and were told the team is a partnership between him and the BAYC.
The team, known as Machi BAYC, is competing in the Pacific Championship Series. The PCS is a professional e-sports league for League of Legends competing in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau and southeast asia, according to Wikipedia.
The Bored Ape Yacht Club confirmed the deal and said they’re excited about the e-sport team.
“Machi Big Brother is a huge supporter of the Bored Ape Yacht Club,” The BAYC told the Gazette. “So when he reached out to us about having his esports team rep the BAYC logo, we were stoked.”
