The Bored Ape Yacht Club Introduced The Community To Three Recent Additions To The Yuga Labs Team:

Updated: Feb 8, 2022

The Bored Ape Yacht Club introduced the community to a few members of the Yuga Lab team yesterday evening.

In a medium article posted by the BAYC, the club gave the community an update about its parent company and introduced three people who have been working there for quite a while.

“We’ve been growing here at Yuga Labs,” the BAYC wrote. “We’ve almost quadrupled our staff over the past month, and it feels great. Over the next weeks and months, you’ll be seeing more and more new faces. That said, we wanted to more formally introduce a few people that have been part of the team for a while now.

The first person that the BAYC introduced was the Partner and Co-CEO of Yuga Labs V-Strange and showed the community their ape. V-Strange’s ape is Mutant Ape #9962. Mutant Ape #9962 is a five-trait pink fur ape wearing heart sunglasses and a baby’s bonnet.

The second person that the club introduced was the Partner and Chief Creative Officer of Yuga Labs, Pez. Pez’s mutant ape is Mutant Ape #25603. Mutant Ape #25603 is a four-trait black fur M2 primate with robot eyes and a bored mouth.

The Final person that the BAYC introduced to the club was the Chief Operating Officer SodaOPS. SodaOPS’ mutant ape is Mutant Ape #547. Mutant Ape #547 is a six-trait white fur M1 mutant with a cowboy shirt and a cowboy hat.

While the BAYC highlighted these three Yuga Lab employees, the team is now up to 36 people, according to the BAYC founders.

“We’re in a big growth spurt right now (we’re currently at 36 people),” The BAYC founder told Farokh in a recent interview. “And part of that is bringing on all the best talent that we can find. In addition to Nicole (AKA @vstrangeYUGA) and @SodaOps, @PezYUGA another partner at Yuga has also moved full time as our CCO. Our team is made-up of Social-media Managers, Community Managers, Producers, Illustrators and Artists, Graphic Designers, Copywriters, Engineers, and IT.”

Yuga Labs is not done expanding and is currently looking to hire solidity blockchain developers, according to a recent tweet from the company

“YugaLabs is looking for Solidity Blockchain Devs for future projects,” The company recently tweeted. “If interested, please send your up-to-date LinkedIn, resume, portfolio (if you have it), GitHub and anything else you think is relevant to jobs@yugalabs.io. Pls use the subject line: Solidity Blockchain Dev.”

The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow Yuga Labs and let you know more about the team as more information becomes available.
