The deadline to register the Bored Ape Yacht Club Animoca Brands Know Your Customer is this Friday April 1st, 2021.
The BAYC reminded its’ followers to complete a KYC that they tweeted about earlier this month.
“This Friday, 4/1 is the last day to KYC, the club tweeted. “If you want to be ready for what's coming, register now. Also, the deadline is April Fools, so beware of scams. We are NOT launching anything Friday. If info doesn't come from our official @BoredApeYC or @yugalabs Twitter, it's not us.”
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the BAYC tweeted a cryptic message earlier this month, inviting its followers to register for “something.”
“Fuck it, again. http://somethingisbrewing.xyz,” the BAYC tweeted on March 10th. “This has been building over the last seven months. @AnimocaBrands will launch the first phase, and there’s more to come. P.S. we don’t like KYCs either, but we think you’re going to want to be a part of this.”
While the BAYC was scarce on details at the time, they did tell its members that the something is brewing link is separate from the play to earn game being developed with Anicoma Brands and that it was not ape token.
Anyone and everyone is invited to complete the KYC. You do not need to own an ape, according to Animoca Brands Chairman Yat Siu. “All are welcome.”
While little is confirmed regarding what is brewing, apes are speculating that this could have something to do with the “otherside” trailer that the BAYC and its parent company Yuga Labs released on March 18th. This speculation seems to be correct based on the art styling of the "Otherside" trailer and the something is brewing webpage.
