The Founder Of IsmToys Met Vitalik Buterin And Gave Him Physical Versions Of Popular NFTs
The father son Duo behind IsmToys met the “price of Eth” AKA Vitalik Buterin last night and gave him a care package full of physical NFTs.
For the last eight months, Ricardo AKA GolemZ NFT, and his father have been creating custom action figures for members of the NFT community.
I'm total, the father son team have made over 350 Bored Ape and Mutant Ape todays and have collabed with 40 NFT projects such as Alien Frens, Juicebox Frens, Bubblegum Kids, among others.
After months of hard work and dedication to their craft, Ricardo and his father got the chance to meet Buterin at the Futurist Conference in Canada last night.
During Ricardo’s meet and greet with Buterin, the founder of GolemZ NFT gave the founder of Ethereum a care package of NFT themed toys. Along with the care package of NFT based toys, Ricardo also gave Buterin a bust of himself that had a special note on the bottom of it. Ricardo wrote this note to Buterin on behalf of the NFT community!
In the note, Ricardo thanked Buterin for creating the Ethereum network and making it possible for him and his family to make IsmToys.
Further, Ricardo also referenced the Bored Ape Yacht Club (the silly monkeys) on the back of the note, along with several other NFT brands.
After meeting Buterin, Ricardo told the Bored Ape Gazette that it was great to speak with the founder of Eth about NFTs and the communities around them.
"It was nice to tell him about some of the communities like the apes that his work has been built on," Ricardo said. "Even though he hasn't been the biggest advocate for apes I'd like to think that my interaction with him showed him how nft communities gave me the opportunity to meet one of the most influential people in the world."
The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow Ricardo and IsmToys and we will keep you posted on what they do next.
