This Bored Ape Yacht Club member who’s typically “Permabearish” turned bullish and got an insane golden deal on Mutant Monday.

BAYC member MortPoker AKA Opensea user Permabearish-Vault, purchased Mutant Ape #3650 for 26 Eth or $49,700 USD.

Mutant Ape #3650 is a seven trait M1 gold fur Mutant Ape with a tank top, a silver hoop earring, and a black BAYC hat. Based on these traits, Mutant Ape #3650 is the 4095th most insane Mutant, according to Rarity Tools.

“Buy grails when nobody is paying attention,” MortPoker tweeted after his purchase. “2nd Gold Mutant acquired ty @edos189 for the trade.”

After MortPoker’s post, the notable collector told the Gazette that he didn’t plan on buying another gold fur Mutant Ape today and that it just happened.

“Just a trader who wanted out and I was at the right place at the right time,” he said. “Wasn’t planning a second one but can’t pass on good deals.”
