This Bored Ape Yacht Club Member Just Purchased A Trippy Blue Beam Eyes Bored Ape Set For 600 Eth

Two notable Bored Ape Yacht Club members made a blockbuster deal for a trippy fur blue beam eyes bored ape and its corresponding mutants Saturday afternoon.
BAYC member Artman sold Bored Ape #2488 and the apes M1 and M2 mutants to BAYC member Zoopa for 600 Eth or $1,800,000 USD.
Bored Ape #2488 and its corresponding mutants are five trait trippy fur apes with blue beam eyes and Hawaiian shirts. Based on these traits, Bored Ape #2488 is the 47th most rare ape, according to Rarity Tools.
“Holy Fucking popsicles, this has been a wild ride but I think this may just be the grail of grails,” Zoopa tweeted after purchasing the rare set. “Ain't as pretty as @GordonGoner so this will have suffice for my doxx. If this doesn't work out, its back to handies in the back alley!! Sets are the future @BoredApeYC #BAYC.”
Bored Ape #2488 has quite a bit of historic value to the BAYC. As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Bored Ape #2488 used to belong to NFT personality and podcaster Ohhshiny until he sold the trippy fur primate and its mutants for 425 Eth and a lot of art.
The Bored Ape Gazette reached out to Artman for comment about the sale, but did not immediately hear back from him.
