This Bored Ape Yacht Club Member Won Deepak Thapliyal's CryptoPunk Giveaway:

After Chain CEO Deepak Thapliyal helped launch Tiffany& Co’s NFT project, the crypto enthusiast gave away a CryptoPunk to celebrate!


On July 31st, American jewelry company, Tiffany& Co. announced its first NFT project,NFTiff.


“We’re taking NFTs to the next level,” the company tweeted. “Exclusive to CryptoPunks holders, NFTiff transforms your NFT into a bespoke pendant handcrafted by Tiffany & Co. artisans. You’ll also receive an additional NFT version of the pendant.”


In total, Tiffany& Co. sold 250 digital passes. Each of these NFTs cost 30 Eth or $51,000 USD based on the price of Eth at the time.


To celebrate a successful project launch, Thapliyal decided to do a CryptoPunk giveaway.





In just two days, Thapliyal’s giveaway tweet received 10,000 likes and had 9,800 retweets.


“The premise of the giveaway was to give back to the community,” Thapliyal told the Bored Ape Gazette. “I am blessed and fortunate to be in a position to able to give back, and not only in monetary ways, but in a fun way with things I love, like NFTs.”


After two days, Thapliyal announced that Twitter user and Bored Ape Yacht Club member BonnieLass88 won CryptoPunk #6412.






CryptoPunk #6412 is a three-trait Dark-Male type CrpytoPunk with classic shades, a forward cap, and an earring. Based on these traits, CryptoPunk #6412 is the 7615th most rare punk, according to Rarity tools.


After winning CryptoPunk #6412, BonnieLass changed her profile photo to the CryptoPunk and tweeted about her win.


“I’m lost for words right now,” she wrote. “Thank you so much @dt_chain- so so grateful, love him so much! #NewProfiePic.”
