Bored Ape Yacht Club member and notable NFT collector 99th.eth purchased 10 Meebits today for 35.57 Eth or $48,000 USD.

99th.Eth may not be waiting long for Yuga Labs to announce some Meebits news.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Yuga Labs teased upcoming utility for Meebits on July 28th, 2022.

In the six-part thread Yuga Labs explained that the company has been working behind the scenes on the Meebits project and that the company has already put together a Meebits team.

“So what are we building? While we can’t get into specifics (we like surprises),” Yuga Labs tweeted at the time. “Our vision for Meebits centers around embracing the currents already core to the community – play, DIY experimentation, tech minimalism, and interoperability – and dialing them way up.”

Since Yuga Labs initial Meebits utility tweet, the company hired former Meebits DAO General Manager, DannyGreene.Eth as its Meebits Brand Lead and also released an updated IP Rights Agreement for the Meebits collection.
