This CryptoPunk has a new gold best friend!

CryptoPunk Brownie.Eth got anew four-legged best friend after they purchased Bored Ape Kennel Club Dog #2541 from Bored Ape Yacht Club member Mthasleem for 18.5 Eth or $22,500 USD.

BAKC Dog #2541 is a golf fur pooch with a red bone collar, a cast and a beanie. Based on these traits, BACK Dog #2541 is the 1074th most rare dog, according to Rairty Tools.

After their purchase, Brownie.Eth took to Twitter and showed off his new puppy!

"’yes hunny, i spent $20k for a picture of a gold doggie’”, Brownie wrote. “s/o to @MThasleem for the trade.”

As Brownie welcomed BAKC Dog #2541 to his new home, BAYC member Mthasleem said goodbye to their golden asset!

"Holding a gold asset from yuga was a privilege and was proud, Mthasleem said. "Unfortunately had to let it go for 18.5."
